When cartons arrive at our Shenzhen warehouse we count them against your packing list, check outer packaging condition, check labels and shipping marks, and note basic visible condition. When we receive cargo in China as your freight forwarder, we carry out the same carton-level check before shipping. Photo confirmation is provided where arranged. This is a receiving check, not a product inspection. We check cartons, not products.
What We Check
These are the checks carried out when cartons are received.
- Quantity / carton count
- Outer packaging condition
- Labels / shipping marks
- Basic visible condition
- Photo confirmation where arranged
What We Don't Do
These are outside our scope. We do not offer them.
- Professional product QC
- AQL inspection
- Product testing
- Laboratory testing
- Certification
- Compliance approval
We check cartons, not products.
Photo Confirmation
- Where photo confirmation is arranged, cartons are photographed as received.
- The purpose is to give you a record of what arrived, and in what condition.
- It is not product photography, and it does not turn a receiving check into a product inspection.
When Repacking May Be Needed
Receiving is usually where these problems surface.
- Cartons arrive crushed, wet or poorly sealed.
- Cartons are too weak for export handling and container loading.
- Carton sizes need adjusting before the shipment is measured.
- Labels or shipping marks have to be applied before export.
Repacking is arranged with you in advance wherever possible, so the scope and the final measurements are agreed before the cargo moves.
What We Need From You
- Packing list per supplier
- So received cartons can be counted against something.
- Carton count, dimensions and gross weight
- For receiving, and for the final measurement.
- Whether labels are required
- Shipping marks, carton labels or FBA labels, and the files for them.
- Whether photo confirmation is required
- Tell us when you book, not after the cargo arrives.
- Your consolidation or shipping plan
- So receiving is matched to the shipment you intend to send.
Limitations
- This is a receiving check based on the outside of the carton and the documents that came with it.
- It does not verify what is inside a carton, and it is not a product inspection.
- A receiving check reduces obvious shipping problems. It does not remove shipping risk.
- We coordinate customs clearance; we are not a licensed customs broker at destination.
